Mozzarella is a unique Italian cheese, made to be eaten fresh. The fresher it is, the better it tastes. 

There are various types of mozzarella, depending on where and how it is produced. As an example, the famous buffalo mozzarella is made from the milk of Italian Mediterranean buffalo, traditionally manufactured in Campania.

Campania’s buffalo mozzarella must be produced exclusively with buffalo milk from the area of origin and made with a technological process that complies with the production disciplinary. It is registered as a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) product according to EU quality policies.
